Hi all! Nadav here (CCed to this message) suggested that some people may opt to work on an open-source program similar to:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosetta_Stone_%28software%29 (which is binary-only, costs money and only runs on Windows and Macintosh) as part of the Call-for-Projects of the Israeli Internet Society: http://www.isoc.org.il/open/kolkore_2009_2010.html So I'm sending you a message as programmers with linguistic and/or translation background (CCing Nadav and some mailing lists). I should note that Rosetta Stone is a complex program, and working on it will require a lot of work - especially in populating the individual lessons. Is any of you up to the task?
