זה נכון שיש ל-MS מספיק פרסום מחברות אחרות שרוצות שיהיה לך חלונות, אבל זה נובע מכך שזו המערכת השולטת, בדיוק כמו שפיירפוקס היום הרבה יותר חזק מכרום או אקספלורר בתחום התוספים בגלל שהוא הכי חזק בנושא הזה, כולם מפתחים לו תוספים ופחות לכרום לדוגמה.
אני אומר שצריך להתקדם בכל החזיתות, זה הכל. מצד שני אני לא בטוח שהאימון על המערכת של חלונות זה הסיבה העיקרית שאנשים עובדים עם חלונות, רוב האנשים לא למדו חלונות בקורס, במיוחד הצעירים, הרוב למדו דרך ניסיון וטעייה או כי הכירו את המערכת מהעבודה. לכן זה חשוב לעבוד בכל הרבדים, גם לקדם את המערכות בקוד פתוח ותכנות קוד פתוח למי שזה מתאים, גם לשפר את היכולות של התכנות שצריכות שיפור כדי שיהוו תחרות רצינית לקוד הסגור בתחום שלהם וגם לקדם עבודה לפי תקנים ובטוח שיש עוד כיוונים שיכולים לעזור לקדם את הקוד הפתוח. אגב, לדעתי הרבה יותר קל ליצור קבוצה גדולה של אנשים שיכולה להרוויח מקוד פתוח מאשר מחלונות, הבעיה היא שכרגע אין מספיק אנשים שמשתמשים בזה, תחשבו רק על תמיכה טכנית, זה אמנם פשוט מאוד, אבל הפורומים מלאים באנשים שאין להם מושג איך ומה לעשות כדי לפתור את הבעיות הכי קטנות... אנשים פוחדים מהמסוף כי הם רגילים לממשק גרפי לכל דבר, זה פחות נוח בהתחלה וכו', הממשק שונה כך שגם את זה צריך ללמוד אם רוצים לעבור (גם אם זה רק מתכנה בקוד סגור לתכנה בקוד פתוח). בקיצור יש מצב של הביצה והתרנגולת, לכן ההתקדמות איטית, אבל כל עוד נמשיך לעסוק בקידום העניין הזה יש לנו סיכוי לדעתי On Tue, 2010-08-24 at 14:13 -0600, Steve G. wrote: > I fully agree.
