What are you trying to do? The templated algorithm is not meant to be overridden. The callback methods, yes, but the not the caller.

In reality, I just need to change HTML rendering by inserting into writeTable
method (TableWriterTemplate), something between writeTopBanner(...) and
writeTableOpener(...).
May be I'm focusing on wrong thing, and there is a easier issue, but I would
like to know if tere is a way to override TableWriterTemplate (in
displaytag.properties for example)
