Yes this scrolls on the console. Its not continuous. But sporadic. If i leave
it running overnight I will the the console full of these messages. The strange
thing as you say is, that I cannot find any mention of it in the logs.

i have done a find /var -exec grep -i gss.* {} /dev/null \; to grep through
logs but no luck finding anything.

Nothing that is intentional. Its running on a network that contains a corporate
domain controller. Other than that no changes to default setup.

I can reproduce it on many installations.

Here the the steps I did.

-install
-setup ( i had to run this a few times because. the message kept saying failing
to -initialize ipv4 on e1000g0. But this turned out be a VirtualBox setting)
-setup zpool, using zpool import -f tank0 ( had 2 configured disks that i
re-added, -they were not cleanly removed)
-zfs set sharesmb=on tank0
-zfs set sharenfs=on tank0
-install napp-it
-add /var/apache/2.2/cgi-bin/napp-it/* to .backup
-updimg.sh

I can publish / push the virtualbox appliance somewhere so you can take a look
if you are so inclined.

thanks for your help.
