Andre, Here are the /var/adm/messages logs for the GSSAPI Errors that you asked for, i don't see any such errors in the logs.
also I have tried disabling the network/smb/server service that hasn't stopped the errors from occuring. I am running 32bit CIFS on a VritualBox. I am running this in bridged mode inside a LAN which has a Windows PDC.
