Hi Dré, Thanks for replying; I've tested the suggested commands. I guess there is definitely something wrong: -------------------------------- library:2:~>su Password: library:1:~#ntpq -pn ntpq: read: Connection refused library:2:~#ptpq -c associations bash: ptpq: command not found library:3:~#ntpq -c associations ntpq: read: Connection refused library:4:~#ntpq -c ntpversion -c version NTP version being claimed is 2 ntpq [email protected] Tue Dec 8 04:10:40 PST 2009 (1) library:5:~#ntpq -crv ntpq: read: Connection refused library:6:~# -------------------------------- As far as I'm aware my EON box can freely access the internet. I guess it would not require a specific firewalled port? (Neither of my other boxes have a problem with ntp)
Also: -------------------- library:8:/etc/inet#ping time.nist.gov time.nist.gov is alive --------------------- Am I running into "futile resistance" ;) Thanks for helping out Erwin -- This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ distribution-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/distribution-discuss
