Hello

We sell computers, and would like to sell them with OpenOffice pre-installed. We would also like to distribute CDs with OpenOffice from our computer shop.

About me and about the company:

I am a norwegian, currently located in Zambia where I run a computer company together with my wife and some Zambian friends. We have been operating as Semisoft Zambia Ltd for about two years, doing computer training and operating an internet cafe. Now we are rebranding our company, moving to a nicer location and renaming the company to Computer Village Ltd. In addition to training and the internet cafe, the new focus will be computer sales. We have just received our first contiainer shipment and our new shop is opening this week.

I have been using OpenOffice as a daily tool for about a year now. I strongly believe it has great potential here in Zambia, where nobody can afford the licences to Microsoft. In addition to ditributing the software we are also working on a sylabus for offering OpenOffice training.

I have subscribed to the [email protected] mailing list.

Yours sincerely

Lars Olav Tveito
