Most authors put <indexterm> entries in the body of the topic rather than in the prolog. So basically, you are saying that the most common case does not work. > However, when I generate a docx from my dita files using XSL Utility, > only the index entries in the prolog appear in the index. > Is this an issue, or is it another XSLT stylesheet modification? XSLT stylesheet customization allows to customize the ``looks'' of the output of ditac. What you describe above clearly does not seem related to the looks of the output of ditac. Therefore this seems to be an issue. However we have *dozens* of tests specifically related to Index generation and this issue never, ever, happens in these tests. So please explain how to reproduce this issue. Before doing that, even if it is unlikely that this issue is caused by your customization layer, I would suggest that you try converting your document to .docx without your customization layer and see what happens. Even easier, try to convert your document to PDF (i.e. simply select ditaToPDF instead of ditaToDocx) and see what happens. --- PS: You sent us many support requests these last few weeks. Answering your questions costs XMLmind time and money. For example, checking our test suite, attempting to reproduce the problem you describe above and finally writing this email took me 1.5 hours. FYI, 1 hour of service is charged $150 by XMLmind. So please consider now purchasing at least product fc-desk - XSL-FO Converter for Java Desktop License - $275. See http://www.xmlmind.com/foconverter/buy.html . If you cannot do this in the very near future or if you are not interested in any XMLmind product, then please stop sending us support requests of any kind. ------ PS #2: I have to add that, in the next few days, legally, you'll no longer be entitled to use XMLmind XSL Utility Personal Edition in the context of your organization. See "XMLmind XSL-FO Converter Personal Edition License Agreement" -- http://www.xmlmind.com/foconverter/license_pe.html --- Licensee may use the Software for the purpose of evaluation of XMLmind XSL-FO Converter, for a limited time period that shall not exceed 60 days. --- -- XMLmind DITA Converter Support List [email protected] http://www.xmlmind.com/mailman/listinfo/ditac-support
