Hussein, Thank you for your reply on the printing issues!
Do you have an suggestions for getting the same xref to link (e.g. to a topic in another ditamap, but in the same XMLmind bld) to work in PDF AND Webhelp? The HREF value seems to be the problem. Somebody over in DITA-land recommend the d4pRenditionTarget plug-in. No clue how to plug it into XMLmind. Any details would be helpful!
