20W * 2 is somewhat exaggerated when the power input says 12v 2A = 24w
and given some losses even in a class d amp say 8w per channel ,btw
don't most of these small class D amps have creative power specs :D
thats a part of the game ,just like these htib system you find at the
supermarket .

But do keep in mind the SPL and decibel are logaritmic the mean level
even when playing loud with normal music is about a couple of watts the
other 200wpc in you hifi is for reproducing clean transients and other
wave forms with low crest factor so that it also sound good at high
levels .
Low power amp will sound muddy and not clean at higher spl , but not
that much lower.
Doubling the power gives gives you 3dB more 10 times the power gives
10dB more if the speakers don't power compress which they all do  .
(also a clipping and over driven amp can give other nasty signals and
fry speakers , lot of hf components and possibly also DC offset.)

But these amps are great for this purpose :)
