No, not all displays are interchangeable. You're probably better off using a smartphone or iPod Touch as a remote (w iPeng / Orange Squeeze or others) for your system. The smartphone / iPod could be mounted in some kind of car mount. That will give you a better viewing angle when driving. The smartphone / iPod can easily be removed so that your system is less prone to theft.
