If people are interested in a player-only solution, I use a piCorePlayer/Audiophonics DAC/JiveLite combination with the official Pi screen. This JiveLite version, provided by Ralphy, has an updated Joggler skin.

No border issues here, but the touch functionality of the screen, currently, does not work!
