I dont think that this is a good Idea....

1st:

Thats for CAT4 max data rate of 16 Mbit/s and performance of up to 20
MHz!

Cat5e cables must be a least 45 cm long otherwise you have massive drop
outs and other nice failures!
We checked that with some High End Fluke Cable Testers - and no that no
audiophile Humbug translated to Ethernet.

Why using an [untwisted] Ethernet Cable to power a Pi over POE (and
which device Powers the POE?)
Really thats Nonsense and no not all Kickstarter Projects are made from
a Genius.
