Hi Pippin, First, Great project nice looking device and a perfect documentation (and software developing part). Really great!
I have of course some questions: What exactly did you use as a battery? Because, as you already mentioned, it needs to : Automatically power the device which is plugged in (i read you added a switch for that) Be charged and powering the device at the same time. My powerbank needs to be switched on, as an example. So please give me hint what it exactly is. Why? Because i have the same hardware here: A pi zero w and the hifiberry min amp Such a great combination! (and your project is the first i found which uses the mini amp) and some different speakers And last: do you have any idea where one could get some play, next, previous buttons? pippin wrote: > IR is definitely not for me. And for device to be carried around that > would be another device you have to take with you. Because i was not able to find any, i thought about using a remote which is built into the casing (thats why i cited you). So that nobody recognizes that it is a ir remote, but internally it works like that (it would be easy to implement because of the lirc function of picoreplayer, only the hardware side will be hard/ some work. What do you think?
