Digging up a pretty old thread here, so this is a long shot.
I'm building a picoreplayer radio into an old roberts radio for my wife. It has to be extremely user friendly. ;) The radio has 3 'radio buttons', so one button will be pressed all the time. I'd like to use those three buttons to select between 3 favourites- a couple of radio stations, and a genre random mix. Is there a way I can do this with SBPi? I've wired them up to 3 GPIOs on the Pi. The docs I can find all mention play,pause,volume, etc - but nothing about favourites.
