I have updated this to HTML5 and it is now responsive so should now work across a wide range of mobile devices as well.
The HTML has also been greatly simplified and tidied up. The nomouse tweak is not included in this code, however it can be added easily enough if desired. Download 28495 and rename it to responsive-now-playing.html and copy it to your Squeezeserver as instructed in above post(s).
