Behringer UCA 202 - I have 2 and they work fine into a Pi2 and a Pi3
although a purist would say use a Pi4 as the USB is separated from the
Ethernet in the later model.
Only about £25 but they are limited to 16/44.1 or 16/48 - more than
enough for vinyl.

I take the audio via alsa input into Liquidsoap, then out to an Icecast
server on the Pi. It streams out in FLAC quality. I then "Tune in URL"
in LMS. There is a noticeable lag.
I run the Behringer inline from source to an aux socket on my amp. This
effectively does a passthru of the audio signal if you arent using the
streaming mode.

Alternatively use piCorePlayer and enable pcp Streamer. This does
essentially the same but when I first tried it it ihad pops and clicks
which my homebrew solution doesn't. It may well be better now we are at
6.10.
piCorePlayer also works with a Behringer UCS 202 confirmed.
