My background is in over ten years of business application development
(order processing and ERP), and I have been moving over to Django,
because I think this framework can do so much more than dynamic data
driven publication. Decimal field support is critical in all areas, so
I am delighted that you have submitted a patch. Moving to Python2.4 to
get serious support for monetary amounts doesn't seem too onerous too
me. I think this matter is quite serious, it would be interesting to
know how many other neat Django features might be made possible by
setting the new minimum requirement to Python2.4 and when this will be
done...
