Hi, We have 5 clients that need to order manually the items in a table. Has anybody already implemented something like this? This topic comes up regularly and we just added a priority field and made an ordering on it. With a lot of content in the DB this becomes a problem and from the user-friendliness standpoint it is a nightmare.
We have 2 options at the moment: -Offer a bounty. -Implement it ourselves. Are there already any bounties offered for django features? Where should they be announced other then the mailing-lists?? If we implement it ourselves should we do this against the new-forms admin branch or the trunk? If a diff would be submitted, how long would it take to be merged to the trunk?
