Main problem (which django-multilingual tries to solve) how to define  
and use ML fields in the model. I just ignored that fact altogether  
in django-utils (for now ;) ) -- see related threads about that here  
and in django-users.

Yes, ML fields should be looking like this -- at least in the admin.

We still have to find a way how to integrate ML enabled fields into  
Django ORM, I plan to return to this issue Really Soon Now ;)
