Feel free to take a look at the code as it stands, to answer that question. Even though I'm certain it won't work, it should at least contain all the pieces that are necessary. And since you'll have to grab the patch from #5361 anyway, be sure to read the documentation included with it, as it covers what each of the functions is responsible for, and how it fits into the process. So, it should be a fairly simple job. The biggest challenge will just be understanding boto and the S3 spec, I would think. That's the part I don't have the time or energy for at the moment. Coding the backend itself should be very straightforward.
