Hey all, I wanted to let everyone know about #django-dev on freenode. It was an idea that I threw out on TWiD and a few people said it would be a good idea. #django now gets intermixed with usage and development questions and I felt it would be good to split them out to avoid the cross noise.
I am also the creator/maintainer of the DjangoBot and have been working on alot of new things. The current logbot that used to work at http://simon.bofh.ms/logger/django/ has not been working for several days. It is a resource I use ALL the time. So providing I have been working on this bot for a while I decided to take the matter into my own hands. The DjangoBot is now logging three channels: #django, #django-dev and #django-sprint so that those records are there for future reference. I find them tremendously useful. You can find it at http://oebfare.com/logger/django/ I understand the process for registering #django is underway, not sure if this would be a good time to bring up registration of #django-dev or if it really matters. Thanks for your time and see, hopefully, many of you at PyCon! -- Brian Rosner http://oebfare.com --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Django developers" group.
