Hey, I've just found that ticket #6789 was merged into trunk while my ticket #6654 that was filed a month earlier and does the same thing was ignored.
My patch is still better because it removes INVALID_PROJECT_NAMES that became unnecessary -- all those names will be detected by __import__.
