Sorry, but I also think that this is the place to discuss about a new db backend.
IMHO everybody thought about a backend for the datastore/bigtable, but what about supporting Google App Engine models in django? Will it be very complicated? I don't know if anybody at Google contacted anybody at Django before "copying" our models with a different syntax, but it would be great to unify both models, or allow compatibility for Google's ones (if the backend solution or another isn't better). I think that Google should be so interested in Django's admin (and other stuff), as Django users are interested in being able to use Google's infrastructure for our applications. -- Marc Garcia from http://vaig.be On Apr 8, 5:34 pm, "Marty Alchin" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > On Tue, Apr 8, 2008 at 11:30 AM, konryd <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > A question I'd like to ask experienced developers: > > That's not what django-developers is for.
