No control is given over how initial date/datetime values are
rendered, using DateField/DateTimeField.

Clients don't like YYYY-MM-DD; who can argue?

At the very least, I propose we at least allow an optional
display_format string, kinda like input_formats.

More importantly though, I think we can do better than force new users
outside US to scratch around contribs to find a half-baked solution to
their trivial date formatting problem, and/or write their own fields.

How about a new setting? Maybe we could even use TIME_ZONE?

Thoughts? More than happy to submit the patch.
