I like it, but mainly that's because I'm not the "maybe" list, and I'm sure I can get it done in time. I do have one suggestion, though.

I think I know what you mean here, but "dropped" sounds an awful lot like an all or nothing deal: either it makes it into 1.0 or it never makes it at all. It's probably best to clarify that "dropped" just means "dropped from 1.0, to be added in the next release after it's completed."
