We never predict the future. It's not impossible, but that's because nothing is. Whether it's actually a common pattern with either a significant barrier to implementation or a single best implementation is open to debate and maybe months down the track that will be clearer. My gut feeling is that it's something which is going to be a bit niche and more useful as an external project, but that's why we don't predict the future.
