I say that you should probably wait until the community is ready to engage in a discussion of new features. We released the v1.1 beta just hours ago, which marked the feature freeze for the v1.1 release. From now until the release of v1.1 final, we will be concentrating on bug fixes, not implementing new features (with an excemption for Summer of Code proposals, as has been discussed elsewhere). I suggest you keep a hold of these notes, and raise them again when the community is in a position to comment on them. This means after the final v1.1 release, when we will be discussing and selecting the features that will be part of the v1.2 release.
