As Russ mentioned, check out ticket #14401 [1], and its associated wiki page
[2]. Those should offer some more insight. That ticket was my pet project to
start and it's come time to finish it (the vagaries of the real world be
damned).
If you have particular aspects you'd like to see better explained or that
would be more useful, please add them to the wiki or leave them as comments
on the ticket.
