Some time ago I opened ticket
#14401<http://code.djangoproject.com/ticket/14401>to address the "how to"
spirit of contributing to Django as opposed to the
hard and fast "contributing reference" that we've got currently. I feel the
time has come for me to wrap up that ticket one way or the other, and I'd
love to get as much into it as possible before landing it in the docs.

The associated wiki
page<http://code.djangoproject.com/wiki/ContributingHowTo>has culled quite a
lot out of the Django Dev discussions, but I'd still love
to get more collaboration on writing this guide.

I know there are numerous people who feel very strongly on this subject, so
please, be bold and offer your contribution so that EVERYONE will better
understand how to work together in contributing!

I'm going to give it about another week before I write it up in reST, so
now's the time to make your voices heard!

Thanks so much,
