I am also interested in where this is going. I have written simple extensions of BaseDetailView similar to the approach taken in the "HybridDetailView" example in the documentation (https:// docs.djangoproject.com/en/1.3/topics/class-based-views/#more-than-just- html). Would love to hear other ideas.
