You posted this here less than an hour after posting on django-users, that hardly seems time enough to consider it "ignored" there.
Also, you might want to include a subject in your emails, particularly for high-traffic lists I would not be surprised if some people simply scan the subjects for stuff that they think might be interesting or something they may be able to answer. items with "(no subject)" as the subject may very well get fewer readers than a subject that actually describes the post/question/whatever.
