When I tested the settings with SESSION_ENGINE =
"django.contrib.sessions.backends.cached_db" (ie. 'write-through cache'),
I didn't get through this bug. Configuration is: Django 1.11, MySQL
5.6.35, mysqlclient 1.3.12, Redis 3.2.7 (x64), django-redis 4.9.0.
