 We documented using the `HttpRequest.accepts()` or writing a custom AJAX
 detection method as recommended replacements:

 > Depending on your use case, you can either write your own AJAX detection
 method, or use the new HttpRequest.accepts() method if your code depends
 on the client "Accept" HTTP header.

 Do you think that we should be so detailed and document the `is_ajax()`
 implementation in release notes? I'm not sure.
