 Wrapping the parser in a try block hides the error, but it is still
 terribly inefficient to attempt to parse potentially megabytes of data
 (perhaps POSTing `image/jpeg`) when you know beforehand from the content
 type that it is not `application/x-www-form-urlencoded`.
