The proliferation of implementations proves that there's significant
interest in the feature. Since each of the implementations are slightly
different, it makes it difficult to rely on the behavior of any one
implementation. Also, some of the implementations behave incorrectly when
using dumpdata/loaddata. Including it in core would solve all of these
problems, as well as provide much lower friction for a new user who does
not know which implementation to choose.
