Hi Alex, congratulation to alpha release of your app. I was about to suggest you django-bootstrap-admin, django-admin-tools and django-fluent-dashboard, but since you already know Admin tools, could you please provide more details about your app? I took a quick look at demo page and read Readme file at github, but it seems to me like lightweight version of django-bootstrap-admin.
