Hi, Community
I'm looking for a hack to change default value of field inherited from
abstract model class. Example:
class StuffBase(models.Model):
access_level = models.IntegerField(default=0)
class Meta:
abstract = True
class StuffA(StuffBase):
data = models.XMLField()
class StuffB(StuffBase):
data = models.XMLField()
What I want is that default access level of objects of classes StuffA
and StuffB was 1 and 2. I assume that setting this attribute in
__init__ constructor will work in most cases, but I may be wrong. So,
I'm asking for advice.
Thanks
