In addition to Sam's comment directed to David:

David,

Excuse me? Do you even know who youre talking to? You're a bank teller telling me
about raving, calling me a "party kid" and accusing me of raving for less than a
month? Do you pocket money or skim money from the bank you work at to be able to throw
money away? Do you live on principles? Do you know how many people are losing out on
their time and money? Maybe you've got alot of time to hang out and waste your time
and money, but ALOT of us have better things to do than drive to tix outlets to get
presales, plan events for our friends (whether in town or out of town), have friends
book flights from out of town, convince numerous other local friends to attend, etc,...

And what is this crap about being a "party kid"? Did I sign up for being called a
"party kid" at some rave or club unknowingly and that meant having my principles
compromised?

I understand that many promoters loose venues and this is not their fault. But
typically, for any good promotion company, I would expect them to tell me to save my
tix for a future event, or tell me that I will get all of my money back. I am tired
of not being compensated for events I plan for ALOT of friends and feeling stupid
because everyone's plans got ruined. My girlfriend who has tightened up on her budget
to return to school full time took that Friday off and the next day off (for eh heeem,
unspeakable reasons here at work) to attend this event. And now you would tell her she
has to loose an extra two bucks for someone's surcharge on top of that?

If it's not a big deal to you, why don't you just give me back the surcharge money I
paid? Why should you have to give me two bucks for every tix I don't get to use? Well
that's exactly what I'm saying to the record store and whomever else wants to get
passed the blame. The way I see it, why don't I open a little presale ticket store,
advertise to thousands of people that I'm holding an event, charge two bucks for
selling the tickets and then just post on my site that I've cancelled the event?
Shouldn't someone be held responsible?

Also, if record stores are providing a service to the music community and fellow
promoters (we all know alot of record store owners also promote), then they too should
realize events get cancelled and be willing to refund the mondy they charged on top of
the ticket price. Have you ever seen me gripe about the surcharge i pay on tix i buy
for events that do take place? I don't bug them about all those two dollars they've
made on me over years and years if they were truly "just providing a service." Just
because the event is cancelled, does that mean that we, who ultimately support the
music stores, should pay for the mishap...whatever the reason and whomever's fault may
be?

When you grow up, maybe you'll see that I'm not just trying to whine. If I were a
little baby only thinking of myself, I'd only put my time into making sure I got my
own money back. When you do indeed do grow up and think of people other than yourself,
maybe you too will realize why I said what I did. Have you even stopped to think about
how many people are getting screwed over for an event of this magnitude?

Why don't YOU get a phucken clue before you open your useless trap with that
negativity. Maybe it's monday and maybe I'm not feeling well, but ignorance sure comes
easy on your "party kid" boat.

James

OMG... Have you been raving for lest than a month or something. Shit
fucken happens dude. Get the fuck over it. In everything you do you get the
good with the bad and there is no way around it. Sorry for the hostility
but just by making the decision to become a party kid it's a given that
parties get canceled. Plus the surcharge isn't being given to the promoters
but the stores that are selling you the tickets. They are providing a
service to you by making the tickets available for you to buy at a
discounted price so that you don't have to worry about the party selling out
(if it happens) or paying the full price. So don't hate on them for helping
you. Just like I said earlier Some people just like to find something to
bitch about. Get a fucken life.

What kinda crap is that? I can't believe it's cancelled, and I called Solid
Grooves to see if they were gonna give me my money back since I bought my
tix there, and they said no! They also told me I have to mail my tix back to
great america to get my money back...so I asked if i get my two dollar
surcharge back....and they said no. What kinda crap is that!!!

Call me a sue happy american, but if anyone else thinks this is bunk, and is
down to bring a case to court to at least get all of our money back, let me
know. Cuz this sounds like a scam to earn a few bucks off several thousand
folk at this point.

Hey everyone,

what's all this about? I called an info line i have and visited massivevents
website and haven't been able to confirm that the event is cancelled. Is
anyone absolutely sure it's cancelled? And if so, where do i get the 411 on

Thanks in advance for the info.

I was wondering if anyone has recieved a refund for there Wonderworld
tickets. I don't trust those fools. Call me paranoied, but I am not
sending my tickets to a random address until I here word that its a real
deal.

I must say that this event had a lot of potential if only those fools
didn't fuck it up 4 the rest of us @ the last event there.

Oh well.....................Every1 Please party On & don't let 'em hold
you down
