Heh... I totally agree. The nation's "policy" on drugs is whatever is most convenient to politicians at the time... One of my professors in a history class said that the 1980s "War on Drugs" happened only because Ronald Reagan realized that in order to be a successful politician, one must have a moral "enemy" to fight against. After the Soviet Union fell apart, drugs became the great 'evil' that the USA had to stand up against... ... ...
