it's a very little known fact that the us is in possession of one of the richest oil supplies. no, it's not in the middle east. no, it's not in alaska.
it's in the gulf. as i understand it, in the past, there was a lot of questions raised about the difficulty of drilling into that area. enviromentalists have complained that we will cause too much of a disruption. however, new technology has been produced that allows us to drill at an angle, i think, thus, enabling us to drill from different areas. also, a lot of the oil is deep down which makes it hard to get to. the president of BP says he doesn't understand why the gov't isn't allowing us to drill for it, and why we are still reliant on middle east oil /me curses as her gas-guzzling vehicle has to suck up freakin gas whose prices jumped ten cents a gallon in one day. ___________________________________________________________________ The D mailing list http://www.djdenise.com/ Check out the new forum! http://www.djdenise.com/forum/
