I still would like to know what the peaceful solution to dealing with Saddam and other rogue leaders/nations is ... One that would actually work (besides not getting involved - I think as a superpower we are obligated to get involved in events around the world. That’s not to say that Bush may be going after Saddam for personal reasons. But as far as I’m concerned that’s not the only reason we’re going after saddam. It just happens that Bush is the one who has to deal with this - would we be arguing about this if Clinton or Gore was in this same position? I don’t think a clear argument can be made that they would _not_ be in this situation( after what happened on 9/11) because regardless of who was running this country 9/11 would not have been prevented.
