I'm not a postfix user but I do know that SMFIC_UNKNOWN is a milter v2 
protocol command used by the MTA to tell the filter about an unknown SMTP 
command sent by the client.

The error is a little weird in that "can't read" and "Success" seem to be 
contradictory.

Off the top of my head, my first guess would be that postfix is talking v2 
milter to a filter that was compiled against v1 libmilter.  I'd need a lot 
more detail to take a better guess than that though.
