The filter itself does not.  I added a temporary unit test to the library 
which fed your sample string as part of the message body, and the 
signature it generated when signing also worked when validating.  I tried 
this with your sample data both at the beginning and ending of the message 
body.

This is probably some intermediate MTA, perhaps even your own, stripping 
the extra CRs or converting them to CRLFs which will of course invalidate 
the signature.
