Greetings,

I'm working on implementing DKIM for our company's outbound email. We're
using dkim-milter 2.4.4 and Sendmail 8.13.8. One of the ways I'm testing
it is via the autoresponder:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]

When I send a DKIM-signed message to this address, it sends me back an
email saying:

DKIM Test: permerror (verification error: signature timestamp in the
future) DKIM Sender Signing Practice: "t=y; dkim=unknown"

I can understand why the timestamp might appear to be in the future, as
our server is in the EST time zone and the elandsys.com server is in the
PST timezone. I also read in the DKIM RFC that the action of ignoring
signatures based on future timestamps is optional. So is this something
I need to be concerned about?

I attempted to disable this by including "SignatureTTL 0" in the
configuration file, and restarting the milter, but the signature still
includes the timestamp and it's still marked as an error by the
autoresponder.

Any thoughts on this?

Thanks,

Peter
