sourceforge.net has a wildcard TXT record which is a CNAME to
projects.sourceforge.net. There is no TXT record for
projects.sourceforge.net, hence the unresolved CNAME.

Are you rejecting the message because of the above error?

The ASP lookup is done on the email address in the From:
header. Using your email as an example, it came through
lists.sourceforge.net. The ASP lookup was performed using your
domain name as a component. If the From: address was
lists.sourceforge.net, the ASP lookup will not result in an error as
the answer is NXDOMAIN.
