I think the UI should be simpler, though. Generating a grant or an upload is just 2 clicks away (if you set defaults), but the look is busy in my opinion. If I had enough time, I would program a small executable that connects to a DL server and generates the ticket for you. Either like a shell extension (right-click, "send-to...", "generate link", and the link is copied on the clipboard), or on OSX like a droplet on the dock (drop a file on the dock, same behavior).
