Hi Davide,
does anybody have a "receipt" or knows about ongoing efforts to augment exim with DMARC? I am rather inclined to suppose the answer is most likely "no", but I thought that it something is going on, somebody on this list would surely know.
...
my question is related to DirectAdmin, a "mass hosting" tool where I have a number of domains configured, that I could DMARC-enable if only I'd find a way to set it up in exim.
I have prototyped DMARC support for Exim, however I'm a little ashamed to say that I've not touched it since the DMARC interop event. That someone may wish to actually deploy it would provide an excellent incentive for me to complete it!
An important caveat: despite my being more fluent in C than in Perl (or perhaps because of it), I elected to implement in Perl using Exim's embedded Perl interpreter instead of implementing in C. Some Exim installations remove Perl in order to reduce Exim's memory footprint. Is the embedded Perl interpreter present in your Exim build?
