Thanks to all respondents last week for sending the messages that helped me debug the DKIM verify capability. That should be fixed.
'Pythentic': www.had-pilot.com/py/had.html is now available for testing SPF, DKIM and DMARC. The quickest way in to explore test capabilities are with Query='help' and Arg1='config', though 'help' with no args gives you the general set of available functions. Pythentic tests both ways: - User provisions TXT records and sends messages: tests prefixed with 'u.'. - Pythentic provisions TXT records and sends messages: tests prefixed with 'p.'. Valid messages from 'u.' tests generate an automatic response containing the result of our authenticating against your TXT record. For SPF and DKIM the response is every 2 minutes on a cron job. For DMARC it depends on your 'rua' value. Messages that do not contain 'spf or 'dmarc' in the subject line will not trigger an automatic response. 'p.' tests initiated from the browser include good and bad behavior for SPF, DKIM, DMARC: there is no 2-way exchange of messages here for SPF and DKIM, though you may generate reports back to us based on our DMARC TXT record. The mailbox used for testing is [email protected]. Any additional dialogue needed can also use this address: the more varied traffic, the better. For the time being this will be in 'Beta' testing mode, so expect some fragility.
