There's always another way to do <X>. Of course the larger the organization, the more finely functions and responsibilities tend to be sliced. People often internalize those boundaries, so you'll find an InfoSec group hiring a vendor to do something in a roundabout way without ever talking to the parallel group that could have provided the raw data more cheaply and easily -- assuming no cross-hierarchical friction...

I take Carl's message in a broader sense - I think we're going to discover a lot of interesting uses for the aggregate data DMARC makes available over the coming year.
